Formos.com Gets A New Design

Some of the guys at work have been working double time to redesign the Formos website. Take a look. What do you think?

    Not bad. Did they use tapestry to design that site?

    No Tapestry this time. We have our own content management system (CMS) based on Rails we have created. It uses that.

    Looks sharp, but I have to admit, also kind of generic. Then again, you can’t exactly put up pictures of your product.

    Looks good. So you guys have written from stratch your own CMS?

    Yep. If is very modular. The idea is just because there are other CMSs out there does not mean they will be able to meet the needs of your site. We would create the modules to help make your site in your image.

    That is the two sentence explanation at least.
