Dick Cheney Cannot Read

It has come to my attention Vice President Cheney apparently does not know how to read. Either that or my third grade teacher could not teach.

Cheney recently announced he was not part of the Executive which is not what my teachers told me. I thought I would look it up myself, and here is what I found out:

US Constitution – Article II Section 1. 1.

The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected…

Stop breaking the law doughbag.

How About Another Link Jeff

Jeff emailed me today and asked why his name on the Heaviest Commenters list (on the side bar) did not link to his site even though he had added his website URI when commenting. As far as I can tell, if any of your comments do not provide a URI then it assumes none of them do – thus not giving a link. This is not how I would have made the plugin, but I didn’t make it, Nate did. Thank you Nate for the plugin.

I also updated Jeff’s current comments for him, so that this will now link. If anybody else would like me to do the same, just ask.

You may also be wondering why this is only my fifth post of the month. To be honest I have not done anything lately which is exciting enough to write about and unless I fill my post with uninteresting tidbits, there is nothing to really write about. This is not to say I have been watching paint dry. A possible post I may have written yesterday could have been:

I went hiking today. It rained. I got soaked. The End.

See not exactly exciting. (I realize the exaggeration). I am going to work on writing more about what goes on in my life and my opinions of the world in the coming weeks. Five posts a month does not cut it.

You Know You Have Jelled Teams When…

There is an idea within managing software development (and I am sure it can span to other disciplines too) called Jelled Teams. This is the idea that a team works so well together, they think before the others speak and know exactly how to work together. I would be like your husband or wife completing your sentences. They rarely actually happen but when they do, the managers are super duper excited because the productivity grows much faster than without it.

Much to my surprise when yesterday, my team (two guys and myself) all showed up wearing red t-shirts, jeans, and white shoes. We had a bit of a chuckle, followed by me thinking one of my teammates was stalking me again, and then got back to work. Now the excitement of out blood gang, trend setting would have stopped there, but we all decided to go to the local coffee joint to break the monotony and wake up a bit. We were then reminded we all dressed a like when the baristas asked us if we planned to dress alike. Now it would have been a bit more entertaining if we could have come up with something witty like we were practicing down the street for the upcoming West Side Story plan (we of course being the Jets), but we had nothing but frowns, solus, and embarrassment.

And that is my story about how Formos dresses alike.

The Columbian (the news paper here in Vancouver, WA) has an article about recent graduates in Clark County. Apparently I graduated this last May, well according to The Columbian. So, apparently I am a resident of Clark County. I am guess UP gave them the information, but it still creepy.

A Walk, Crawl, Or Pass Out Down Memory

This past weekend Jason and Chris moved out of our old college house. I have to say this is a pretty big milestone in my life even though I moved out last November. I went over and helped Jason a bit this weekend and told Chris to move out better.

Most importantly, it was quite a switch to see the house completely empty after living there for two and a half years. I checked a few things off my list of Things to do Before I Die including graduating from college, move out of my parents’ house, throwing up on the carpet, passing out in the bathroom and waking up in my bed, throwing up in the grass, drinking my weight in beer, making out with Jason’s future girlfriend, throwing up in the driveway, stealing Chris’ food without him knowing, riding in a cardboard box down the stairs (as a full grown adult), drinking my weight in wine, going rally driving in the Fred Meyer parking lot after it snowed, and sleeping only 20 hours in two weeks while loving it. Just to name a few.

By the way if anybody would like to by a house, I know of one for sale.
