Do you have receipts piled up on your desk? How about those warranties, deeds, or any other document you may have in your possession? You might like to know that some of those documents will be needed in the future and others are just crap.
You might life to hold on to those tax returns, insurance papers, investment papers. On the other hand, you do not need to keep receipts once they clear the bank or bank statements after all the transactions are verified.
Seeking Alpha made a fun list of those papers which you should keep and those you can trash.
