I am reading up on a technology we use here at Formos called ObJectRelationalBridge by the nice folks at Apache. This tool is used in conjunction with Tapestry which I explained earlier.

OJB will take the instance variables in the Tabestry Java file and map them to a table in the database. This means that Tapestry will take an HTML form and create various variables in a Java file. This Java file will work with OJB and its corresponding DLL file to map those various variables to table. This makes it so that every HTML page will have its own table and OJB DDL file. It is a very different way of looking at it since I am used to writing all my SQL statements for all my files. This process may have been useful for my Senior Project. I would like to point the rest on this post and explanation to the OJB site since they have already explained the system and have a fine tutorial.
